Yes. AP free response is where most points are lost and where the 4 versus 5 difference is made. Uplift tutors know the College Board rubric for each AP subject and train students to structure answers the way graders reward. For AP Sciences, this includes data analysis and experimental design. For AP English, this covers synthesis, rhetorical analysis, and argument essays.
A score of 3 is the minimum passing grade, but most competitive colleges only award credit for a 4 or 5.
