Your child's IGCSE tutor stays from the first diagnostic session through to the final board exam. No rotations, no handovers, no strangers three weeks before Paper 1. This is the hardest promise in online tutoring, and we make this promise.
Our tutors carry the same care and personal investment that an Indian teacher back home would. They are available for doubt support between sessions. They remember which topics make your child freeze. They show up.
Your child's IGCSE tutor knows their exact syllabus, their specific exam board's marking scheme, and the command words that determine partial-mark answers. IGCSE Extended Maths students are not taught by a generalist — they are taught by the IGCSE Extended Maths specialist.
Uplift Academy is the only IGCSE tutoring service built for Indian diaspora families. Scheduled in your time zone (Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, London, or Sydney) with monthly Progress Reports and a "We Care" parent communication channel.
Every student is matched to a tutor who teaches only their subject — never a generalist. Below are our core IGCSE offerings.

Uplift Academy provides 1-on-1 IGCSE tutoring for Mathematics (Core and Extended), Physics, Chemistry, Biology,English Language, English Literature, French, and Hindi. Every tutor is a subject specialist matched to the student's specific IGCSE subject and exam board — never a generalist.
Yes. Uplift tutors cover both Cambridge IGCSE (CIE) and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. For Cambridge, depending on the subject, your child will sit some combination of Paper 1 (multiple choice), Paper 2 (Core written), Paper 3 (Extended written), Paper 4 (Extended written or coursework), and Paper 6 (Alternative to Practical for Sciences). For Edexcel, papers are typically Paper 1 and Paper 2, with some subjects offering a Paper 3. Either way, your child's tutor is matched to their specific board — and knows not just the content, but which paper types ask which question styles, and how to prepare for each one.
Yes. Continuity is our foundational promise. Every IGCSE student is assigned one dedicated tutor at the start of the engagement who stays with them through to their final exam session. We never rotate tutors for operational convenience. A tutor change only happens at a parent's request or if the tutor has a genuine personal reason — never for our scheduling ease.
Uplift Academy was built specifically for the global Indian diaspora. Our teachers are Indian subject matter experts who share the same academic standards, cultural expectations, and personal investment that NRI families recognise from schooling back home. They schedule around your time zone, communicate on WhatsApp, and treat your child as a person — not a ticket number. Families in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, London, and Sydney consistently tell us it is the closest thing to having a trusted Indian teacher at home.
IGCSE offers two tiers in subjects like Mathematics and Sciences: Core (grades C to G) and Extended (grades A* to E). The Extended syllabus covers a broader and deeper range of topics and is required for students targeting A* or A grades — and for entry into competitive A Level programmes. Uplift Academy tutors cover both tiers, and your tutor will help you assess which tier aligns with your child's goals and current academic standing.
Most students begin the IGCSE programme in Grade 6. We recommend starting tutoring in Grade 6 — building conceptual foundations early produces stronger results than intensive cramming in the final term. That said, Uplift also works with Grade 10 students who need focused exam preparation in the final year, including past paper practice, mark scheme technique, and structured revision.
The free demo is a full diagnostic class — not a sales call. Your child's matched IGCSE tutor assesses their current understanding, identifies specific learning gaps in the syllabus, and shares a first-look learning plan covering what will be covered in the first weeks of regular sessions. There is no payment required and no obligation. If the match works, regular lessons begin the following week.
Uplift Academy provides online IGCSE tutoring to students and families in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, India, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Doha, and across 15+ countries. All sessions are fully online and scheduled around your child's local time zone. We serve India-based families attending international schools as well as NRI families abroad.
