Education in Singapore is managed by the Ministry of Education (MOE). Grade 7 to 10 fall under the Secondary Education of the Singapore curriculum.
Based on the results of the PSLE, students are divided into G1, G2 and G3 based on their subject banding scheme and are admitted in schools for secondary education. Upon completion of the 4-year secondary school education, students will participate in the annual O level exam, the results of which determine the post-secondary institutions they may apply for.
